rae + colin | admiral kidd club wedding

Rae and Colin's wedding in May was awesome!  I loved the pink and silver color palette, the beautiful bride's sparkly off-one-shoulder gown, and the Mother of the Bride dress was my most favorite ever (you can kind of see it in the last photo, where she is hitting the pinata- more on that later, and in the ceremony photo).  The purple was gorgeous, there were ruffles, and it just fit her perfectly.  Not so typical "Mother of the Bride" attire.  LOVE.

My team and I are at Admiral Kidd Club several times a year, and are very comfortable "doin' our thang" there.  As always, the view was spectacular.

I thought the favors at this wedding were really great;  little "Love is Brewing" coffee bags- super cute AND functional!  Always go with something that is either edible/consumable or a fun experience, like a photobooth.  Trinkets usually get left behind, and decor items do not fit into most people's homes.

This was a fun group of guests.  In fact, you can imagine my surprise when I saw the groomsmen walking through the reception hall wearing sombrero's and carrying a Corona bottle pinata (maybe some memories of Mexico here?).  It was a fun addition to the party- and in case you were wondering, there WAS candy in it.  What a great end-of-the-night activity :)  Props, guys!  It takes a lot to surprise a Wedding Planner, and I have NEVER seen that.

These gorgeous photos are courtesy of  Emily Faulknor Photographers- they showed some of the ceremony and getting ready photos on a slideshow at the reception, and I knew the bride and groom were going to be absolutely delighted with their documentation.  Just beautiful.  You will also see a series of Rae and Colin's photos as the my main image of my website in the fall.  Each month, I feature a different image from a past wedding.
